We are ready for the long warm days and to welcome our neighbors and visitors alike to Downtown Morrisburg. Shortly we will be bringing out the picnic tables, umbrellas followed by getting the gardens, planters and hanging baskets all in place.

We will be all ready for the Morrisburg annual sidewalk/yard sale weekend on Saturday May 21st.

Our Farmers & Crafters Market will again be in operation Fridays and Saturdays and you may see some of our vendors with fresh produce out on other days of the week. We feel this is another way to bring attention to our existing businesses.

I would like to remind you that we continue to promote Shop Local program whereby we remind consumers of the importance of shopping local and educate the public about how much local businesses give back to their communities. We will begin to run advertisements in “The Leader” newspaper monthly listing the many organizations and charities that our businesses support. The message is: “this support is possible because you shopped local”. Please send me the information about who you donated to by the end of April for inclusion in the May ad and at the end of each month thereafter to so we can include your business in our Ad.
